Radio wave flow meter 'RT720-4VD / RT720F-4VD'

Usable from a bridge with a water surface distance of around 10 meters in open waterways and urban rivers!

The "RT720-4VD / RT720F-4VD" is a flow meter that measures flow velocity non-contact using microwave Doppler technology. The operating frequency band is within 24.2GHz at 10mW, and no license is required for use (compliant with technical standards). Additionally, non-communication data is recorded on a 1GB SD card. 【Features】 ■ Measurement intervals can be as short as 1 minute ■ Communication data is recorded on a cloud server and SD card ■ No electrical or communication work is required (uses solar unit and 3G/4G communication) ■ Usable in areas such as rivers and waterways *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Radio wave flow meter (RQ-30 series)

Non-contact 24-hour flow velocity observation of rivers and waterways is now possible! A compact and energy-efficient flow meter. Water level observation is also completed with a single unit, and flow rate is calculated and output internally.

The RQ-30 is a radar sensor developed by the Austrian company Sommer that continuously measures the flow rate of rivers and waterways. It is a device that integrates two non-contact radar sensors that measure surface flow velocity and water level (certified for technical compliance). Due to its non-contact measurement, the system is not affected by damage from sediment or floating debris. For example, even in flood situations, it requires little maintenance and provides high reliability. It is equipped with a learning function that effectively removes measurement noise caused by rain and the terrain of the site. The lower limit for detection and measurement is very small at 0.1 m/s, allowing for the measurement of gentle flows. The distance to the water surface ranges from 0.5 m to 30 m (with 35 m and 15 m models also available), accommodating a wide range of measurements from small waterways to large rivers. Its low power consumption makes continuous operation in off-grid environments easy.
